This is a 1993 Honda CBR1000F, purchased NEW, by me, in March 1993. I currently have over 51,000 miles on this vehicle, thanks to its' being a daily driver, it is seen by a Honda mechanic about every three months...or 4,000 miles for SCHEDULED maintenance; any "unexpected" repairs, of course, as necessary, normally within hours, or the next day the dealership is open.
For those who have wondered, and those who have inquired, CBR stands for Closed Body Racer. It is the term used for motorcycles that have the engine, as well as most of the frame, covered in bodywork to help the bike achieve better aerodynamics (via control of the air flow), and of course, higher speeds!
