Here is a picture of the cockpit...full instrumentation, which INCLUDES the 185 mph (marked) speedometer!!
As far as my personal experience, even as much as I weigh (over six feet tall and over 225 lbs.) this thing performs QUITE nicely for me. The speedometer HAS seen 177 miles-per-hour, which allowing a 10% error, still would allow for a top speed approaching 160 mph (159.3)!!
